Abstract

The paper presents the results of studying the dynamics of the fuel and energy complex enterprises in the State of South Australia. Based on the data of space monitoring of the Earth, the location of a open-pit coal mine was determined, as well as its technological indicators, utilized mining transportation equipment, and elements of the coal mining method. The closure period of the open-pit coal mine and two thermal power plants, which operation is based on coal firing, has been established.
