DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.18796/0041-5790-2026-8-72-75
Abstract
The modern development of regions with the dominance of coal enterprises is accompanied by a significant impact on the regional ecological and economic system. In this regard, it is necessary to focus on studying the state of the ecological and economic system of the region and finding a new approach to its regulation, developing an organizational and economic mechanism with functions ensuring sustainable territorial development. In terms of research methodology, process and dynamic approaches are involved. The process approach to studying the development of the ecological and economic system of the coal mining region is to assess the impact of interacting coal enterprises in the territory in which they are present; offers tools that implement corporate social responsibility in the regulation of the ecological and economic system of the region. The use of a dynamic approach has been applied in the study of trends in the development of the ecological and economic system. The mechanism for regulating the development of the ecological and economic system implies the use of project management with the participation of business and government. The implementation of the organizational and economic mechanism will make it possible to give a coordinated interaction of the components of the ecological and economic system to improve the quality of life of the population.
