Abstract
The issues of forming an innovation management system at enterprises are being updated by the national agenda of the Russian Federation, which consists in changing production technologies at Russian enterprises, taking into account the sanctions policy of unfriendly countries and import substitution. Coal industry enterprises are no exception, the demand for coal products is increasing, which requires a corresponding rethink of approaches to the formation of an innovation management system in coal industry enterprises. In the materials of this work, the works of previous authors close to the topic of forming an innovation management system are analyzed; the analysis of metallurgical coal consumption by China and India is implemented; existing approaches to understanding the enterprise’s innovation management system are investigated; the features of coal industry enterprises that influence the formation and development of an innovation management system are identified; a model of an innovation management system at enterprises is developed coal industry; the expediency (organizational, economic, environmental, social) of the innovation management system at coal industry enterprises is proved. The authors have determined that a promising direction for the development of the stated research topic may be the consideration of artificial intelligence technologies in ensuring the effectiveness of control systems in the coal industry.
