CONTINUING EDUCATION AS A FACTOR FOR DEVELOPING THE HUMAN RESOURCES POTENTIAL OF THE MINING INDUSTRY

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need to bridge the growing gap between the competencies of graduates and the needs of high-tech mining enterprises. The main results include the development of an architecture for a continuing professional education (CPE) system that integrates technological, managerial, and environmental aspects. The conclusions posit that CPE is a key factor in developing the industry’s human resources potential. Integrating the efforts of universities, businesses, and the state will ensure the technological modernization and enhanced competitiveness of Russia’s mining industry.
