PROSPECTS FOR IMPLEMENTING THE INDUSTRIAL INTERNET OF THINGS AT COAL MINES IN THE KRASNOYARSK KRAI
Abstract
The article discusses the prospects for the implementation of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in coal mining operations in the Krasnoyarsk region, highlighting its potential to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in coal extraction. The author analyzes the opportunities for integrating modern technologies, such as sensors and data analytics, which allow for optimization of work processes, prediction of equipment failures, and reduction of negative environmental impacts. The focus is on the challenges of insufficient integration of digital solutions and the diversity of processes in the coal mining industry, which hinders the full utilization of IIoT potential. The article also examines examples of successful IIoT implementations, including the experience of the technology company "Tapla," which demonstrates efficiency increases of 40-60%. Key conclusion emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to IIoT implementation and systematic monitoring to enhance productivity and create safe working conditions. In the context of increasing competition and the need to reduce costs, the implementation of IIoT appears to be a strategic tool for the sustainable development of the coal industry in the Krasnoyarsk region.
