Abstract

In recent years, there has been a reversal in trade and transport flows towards the countries of Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region, which requires serious development of logistics processes for transporting coal at the Eastern landfill. To this end, the article proposes four problem statements covering various options for the implementation of railway projects connecting coal deposits and ports in the Arctic zone of Russia and the Far East. For these statements, models have been developed, and methods have been proposed that make it possible to search for solutions, including performing a multi-criteria selection of the best project, forming the optimal set of projects for their joint implementation, and determining the duration of projects with limited investments. The recommended methods for solving the problems under consideration are simple and allow you to search for a solution in the Excel environment.
