Abstract

It was found that for the production of explosion-proof electric drive casings in the coal and gas industry it is advisable using aluminum alloys that have high strength, corrosion resistance, spark safety and are reliable when used in humid and aggressive environments. Computer modeling in the QForm program was used to develop the casing production technology, which made it possible to study the change in the shape of the workpiece during hot volume stamping and determine the required force for deformation.
