Abstract

The task of ensuring safety at mining operations remains topical and one of the promising ways to solve it is the widespread introduction of automation systems. Humans have to interact more and more often with automation in complex systems. Hence the task arises to design remote control panels with due account for the requirements of ergonomics, engineering psychology, technical aesthetics to ensure prompt and safe work of the operator. This paper presents an overview of remote controls developed by various companies and discusses the importance of designing the humanmachine interface and interaction scenarios.
