Abstract

The paper discusses the results of production tests carried out on the Multotec’s new SX7 spiral separator designed for the efficient treatment of coal slurries. With the increasing demands for coal quality and stricter environmental standards, the need for improved treatment technology is becoming particularly urgent. The new separator is fitted with an advanced repulper that provides additional separation of low density coal and minimises the ash content in the final product.
