Abstract
The article presents the results of studying the condition of the Australian Fuel and Energy Complex using the Earth remote sensing data fromspace. Remote monitoring and analytical calculations reveal the production potential of each of the four identified coal production centres. Thegeographical location and the number of coal-fired thermal electric powerplants have been determined.
