Abstract
The relevance of research in the field of the choice of technical means for the implementation of cogeneration technologies in the functional structure of coal mining enterprises aimed at the rationalization of environmental management is substantiated. The class of reciprocating internal combustion engines (GPU), gas turbine engines (GTU), power plants based on the use of various fuel cells (TE) are considered. The analysis of the main characteristics and parameters of the applicability of alternative power plants based on the use of GPU, GTU and TE in order to create mini-CHP plants at coal mining enterprises indicated the priority of the use of GPU.
