Abstract

Currently, in resource-oriented regions with significant anthropogenic load, as a result of anthropogenic degradation, the deterioration of surface watercourses is observed.Coal mining is accompanied by man-made transformation with the destruction of natural landscapes, pollution of the air environment and watercourses with impurities of various types. Surface watercourses are significantly contaminated by effluents formed on the territory of coal mines, which significantly reduces their sanitary reliability. This paper presents studies on the selection of controlled hydrochemical parameters and proposes a program for step-by-step monitoring of the situation of changes in the volume and nature of wastewater pollution, as well as monitoring the condition of various watercourses exposed to manmade impacts of a similar nature. The proposed phased monitoring program includes 2 stages: monitoring of the state of surface and wastewater for the period of operation of the facility and monitoring after the termination of operation of the facility.
