Abstract

Optimization of autonomous shovel-truck systems (STS) operation at the open-pit coal mines of the Kuzbassrazrezugol JSC is performed using three complex optimized parameters: the number of trucks per shovel, truck loading time, and the truck haul time according to the STS operation quality criterion. Based on these values, specific optimal values of other STS operation indicators can be obtained using the existing relationships. Not only fixed indicator values were obtained, but also the ranges of their variation within the given optimization paradigm, which significantly simplifies the assembly of the STS shovel and truck fleets from the existing brands and models of mining shovels and trucks. The procedure for synthesizing the main optimal STS operation indicators typical for the Taldinsky Mine of the Kuzbassrazrezugol JSC is considered. It is shown how the number of equipment fleets of the mine can be changed when the required volumes of material loading and transportation change. Optimal values for the number of shovel and truck fleets are established in relation to the Taldinsky Mine.
