Abstract

The article proposes a methodology for the development of patent landscapes, a patent collection of global trends and prospects for wastewater treatment of coal enterprises conducting open-pit coal mining, obtained on the basis of patent analytics for the period from 2012 to 2022. The patent collection is analyzed according to the main indicators of the dynamics and structure, the geography of the emergence of technologies and their legal protection, direct citation of patent families among the most significant copyright holders, and the article analyzes the full texts of patent documents and highlights the main areas of application of wastewater treatment technologies at coal mines. Technical, legal and business information is obtained from patent sources and visualized using modern patent analytics tools.

Keywords
