Abstract

The article is devoted to the current state of coal mining in the Republic of Tuva. The coal enterprises of the region that have licenses for the development of deposits and coal mining, as well as currently operating in the coal mining industry, are presented. The dynamics of changes in the retail price of coal for the population is analyzed. The analysis of the series of dynamics of coal production volume of LLC "Tuva Mining Company", the only supplier of coal for the population in the republic, is presented. The excess of the retail price of coal for the population from the recommended price of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia was revealed. The priority in the development of the coal industry may be the inclusion of the Odegeldey site of the Akhtalsky coal deposit in the list of subsurface resources for geological study, exploration and production.
